Accessibility Features of this site include

  • Style Sheet independence - pages are still accessible without style sheets enabled or with alternative style sheets
  • Resizable Text - the main text of each page has a relative size which means that users can view the text in larger or smaller sizes (Internet Explorer: 'View > Text Size...'; Netscape/Mozilla: 'View > Text Zoom...')
  • Access Keys are available for keyboard navigation of menu links (see below).
  • Every page has a 'skip navigation link' first to enable users of screen readers to jump past the repetitive main navigation bar into the main content of the page.

Privacy

Manchester Lesbian Community Project uses a small script file called a 'cookie' for Accessibility purposes only. We do not use this to collect data on our website users. Nor do we allow the use of any third party cookies or data miners on our site.

Separate statements are made available with any forms we have on the site to collect personal information (for example to subscribe to our newsletter). However, as a rule, LCP only holds such information for the stated purpose and does not share or sell personal data to other organisations.
